Sajeev Vijayakumar founded Cyberera in 2025 after nearly two decades in enterprise infrastructure and information security.

He began in network engineering and operations, including several years at CIBC moving from its global command centre to managing infrastructure projects. At IBM Security Services he led security programs and projects for financial-sector and public-sector clients. As Director of Information Security at Durham College and Ontario Tech University he built the institution's information security program, covering policy, identity, network security, monitoring and awareness training.

He now works as an infrastructure and cyber security program manager, and brings that operational and security background to how Cyberera designs and automates Azure environments.

How the work is approached

Changes are made as code, reviewed before they are applied, and documented well enough that your own team can operate and rebuild what was built. Costs are estimated before anything is provisioned.

Alongside client work, Cyberera is developing an AI-assisted framework for cloud engineering and automation. It is founder-funded, in early-stage development and not yet commercially available. The Technology page explains the approach.
