Technology and automation
The work is built on a small set of well-understood tools, used the same way every time, so an environment can be reviewed and rebuilt by someone other than the person who built it. AI assistants help draft code and documentation; a person reviews and approves every change.
Tooling
Cloud platform
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Azure Policy
Infrastructure as code
- Terraform
- Ansible
Delivery
- GitHub
- GitHub Actions
- Pull-request reviews
Good infrastructure should outlast the engagement that built it.
- Everything as codeConfiguration lives in version control, not in a console history.
- Documented to rebuildEach environment ships with the steps to recreate it from zero.
- Least privilege by defaultAccess is scoped, reviewed and never shared through chat or documents.
- Cost visible earlyRecurring costs are estimated before anything is provisioned.
- Approved before appliedRead-only discovery comes first. Nothing changes without a reviewed plan and explicit approval.
An AI-assisted framework for designing, governing and rebuilding Azure environments.
Cyberera is developing an AI-assisted cloud engineering and automation framework, starting with Microsoft Azure. It combines infrastructure as code, AI-assisted engineering, independent security review and human-approved execution, with the aim of making cloud environments more secure, repeatable and easier to run.
The target workflow runs from cloud discovery and AI-assisted assessment through infrastructure planning, independent validation and human approval, to controlled execution, documentation and recovery. It is designed so that different AI models take separate roles, such as building, reviewing and documenting, and no model checks its own work.
Status: early-stage development. The operating and governance model is documented; the automation itself is at an early stage. This is an internal initiative, not yet commercially available, with no customers today.
